FAQs about radiofrequency
How is radiofrequency performed?
It involves applying radiofrequency energy to heat the inner layers of the skin. By applying energy in the form of heat at an average temperature of 40 degrees, a contraction of our skin's collagen and elastin networks is achieved, obtaining immediate and long-lasting results.
How is the diagnosis made?
Our specialist performs a personalised diagnosis before starting treatment. During this first visit, the type of treatment is determined, which depends on personal characteristics. Some of these characteristics include: age, metabolism, the area to be treated, and tissue structure.
How long does the treatment last?
The duration of the treatment varies depending on the area being treated, ranging from 25-30 minutes for small areas such as the arms or abdomen, and 45-50 minutes for larger areas like the flanks per session.
The number of sessions required is variable and will depend on each patient's condition and their desired level of results; however, between 4 and 6 are considered necessary for facial treatments, and between 6 and 10 for body treatments.
