Growth factors obtained from PRP platelets

Growth factors obtained from PRP platelets

Facial ageing caused by the inexorable passage of time and exposure to harmful skin agents leaves visible stigmas of cellular damage on the skin, such as loss of luminosity, radiance and fineness, as well as loss of tone, which favours the appearance of wrinkles and the sagging of tissues.

Currently we can fight these signs of ageing using the technique of skin biostimulation with growth factors obtained from platelets. These are protein fragments whose mission is to stimulate cells called fibroblasts, which are responsible for the synthesis of collagen and elastin, so important for facial structure.

It involves taking a small blood sample from the patient to separate the plasma fraction containing the platelets, which hold the growth factors inside them, so that we can extract them and infiltrate them into the patient's skin to stimulate skin regeneration.

To optimise the result and promote the formation of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, the elements needed to produce them (amino acids, coenzymes, vitamins, etc.) are supplied, either by infiltrating them directly into the skin (facial mesotherapy).

The whole procedure takes approximately one hour, and repeating it up to three times at one-month intervals between sessions achieves the best results.

Growth factors are specific to each individual's tissues, which makes this system an absolutely personalised treatment, free of any risk of rejection or allergies, with no contraindications and suitable for anyone who wants to improve skin quality.

The increase in radiance, fineness and tone becomes evident after three months and is more noticeable at six months, the time the body needs to synthesise the new regenerating proteins.

Regeneration with growth-factor-rich plasma is a fabulous complement to other anti-ageing facial treatments, such as facial peels.
