Dr Ainitze Ibarzabal is a graduate in Medicine from the Faculty
of Medicine from the University of the Basque Country (EHU) since the year
2001. He qualified as a specialist in General and Surgical
Digestive System at the Hospital Clínic of Barcelona. From
2007 is a specialist in Gastrointestinal Surgery with a special
dedication to Bariatric Surgery, with experience
accumulated more than 500 procedures - both surgical
primary as in revision surgery-, being currently a
of the leading experts on this pathology in your Centre. She is a professor
Associate of the University of Barcelona, she is the author of over 40
publications in indexed journals, and has carried out multiple
presentations, both national and international, related
with obesity. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors
of the Spanish Society of Obesity Surgery (SECO).

Dr Ainitze Ibarzabal qualified as a Doctor of Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of the Basque Country (EHU) in 2001.
